The weather is pleasant throughout the year with an average annual temperature of 20.6 degrees celsius. The average annual rainfall is 4 mm. LMC was established keeping in mind the vision to develop Palpa as an excellent center for education, health and tourism. Setting up a medical college in a hilly district was not an easy task mainly due to geographical constraints, but now Lumbini Medical College is in operation for more than thirteen years.
