Organization Profile: The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) which was established in 1936 is a Deemed to be University fully funded by the University Grant Commission (UGC), Government of India. TISS offers Master Degree Programmes, M. Phil. And PhD Programmes in the field of Social Work, Social Sciences, Health, Management, Labour Studies, Habitat Studies and Rural Development from its Mumbai, Tuljapur, Guwahati and Hyderabad Campuses. TISS has Data centers and IT Service Management Centre (Software development section) to develop and manage all application required. The institute is currently looking for bright candidates to work with IT Services Management Centre for managing the software development and change request in the applications.
Job Title: Legal Fellow
Employment Type: Contractual position
Period of Contract: May 15, 2021 to October 31, 2021
Requirements:
This is a full time paid position. Selected candidates will be expected to work within the
Mumbai Metropolitan Region limits but may be required to travel to other districts as per
programme needs.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in LLB.
- Knowledge of computer skills./Ability- read, write and speak in Marathi, English
Hindi. - Familiarity with the use of MS-Office, emails and the internet.
- Preference may be given to social workers with minimum 2-3 years of experience
or work experience in the criminal justice system. - Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently.
- During contract period, Fellow shall not take up any other employment without
the prior permission of the employer. .
Salary: Rs. 30,000 per month (Approx).
Job Location: Mumbai
