Organization Profile: The Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon (Formerly known as North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon) established on 15th August, 1990 under the Maharashtra Universities Act, XXIX of 1989, started its academic and administrative functioning from the academic year 1991-92. Within the span of 3 years, the University is recognized under section 2 (f) in 1991 and 12 (B) in 1994 under the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956. The jurisdiction of the University is extended over three districts i.e. Jalgaon, Dhule and Nandurbar, a pre-dominantly tribal and rural area of Khandesh region. The University has opened it’s doors of higher education to mostly “first generation learners” of this area.

Essential Qualification:
- Dean & Director (Lifelong Learning and Extension):
- An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work, with a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria given in appendix-II, Table-2 of Govt. Resolution No. Misc 2018/ C.R.56/ 18/ UNI-1dated 8 March, 2019.
- A minimum of fifteen years of teaching experience in university/college as assistant professor/ Associate Professor / Professor, and/or research experience at the equivalent level at the University/National level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate.
OR - An outstanding professional, having a Ph. D. degree in the relevant / allied/applied disciplines, from any academic institution (not included in A above) / industry, who has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has not less than fifteen years experience in teaching or research.
OR - As per the post of PRINCIPAL
i. Ph.D. Degree;
ii. Professor / Associate Professor with a total service/experience of at least fifteen years of teaching/research in Universities, Colleges, and other institutions of higher education;
iii. A minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals; and he/she has not less than fifteen years experience in teaching or research.
iv. A minimum of 110 Research Score as per Appendix II, Table 2of
Govt. Resolution No. Misc-2018/C.R.56/18/UNI-1, dated 8 March 2019.
- Director (Innovation, Incubation, and Linkages):
- Professor/Principal with minimum aggregate teaching experience of 15 years
OR - Research Scientist of Grade-F with minimum aggregated research experience of 10 years
OR - Research Scientist or Professional from the Industrial sector with a proven minimum aggregate Industrial/Entrepreneurial experience of 15 years in the process of establishment of an Enterprise / Industry and formation and execution of collaborations /Linkages at National /International level.
- Should have successfully executed two major research/consultancy / Industrial
projects out of which at least one should be a collaborative / Joint project with Linkage at premier National/International University or Institution or Industry. - Knowledge in the field of Intellectual Property Rights and aspects associated therewith desirable.
- Professor/Principal with minimum aggregate teaching experience of 15 years
- Finance and Accounts Officer: Chartered Accountant or a Cost Accountant, with professional experience of not less than five years.
- Registrar: A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks of any statutory University or its equivalent grade of B in U.G.C. 7 points scale.
