Essential Qualifications: Candidates must have updated Medical Registration (NMC/State Medical Council) along with post MBBS/MD/MS qualifications, with the educational qualification for all posts as per the latest NMC Gazette notification dated 30.06.2026. For the Homeopathy Physician post, candidates need a BHMS degree from a recognized university, with preference given to those holding a PG qualification, and registration with the Maharashtra Medical Council or Medical Council of India.

Age Limit: As on 30.06.2026, the age limit is not exceeding 68 years for faculty posts (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor) and not exceeding 45 years for Senior Resident. For the Homeopathy Physician post, the age limit is 35 years, relaxable by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Salary Details: Professor gets Level 13 pay with a basic pay of ₹1,23,100/- (approx. ₹2,81,704/- with allowances). Associate Professor gets Level 12 pay with a basic pay of ₹78,800/- (approx. ₹1,84,421/- with allowances). Assistant Professor and Senior Resident get Level 11 pay with a basic pay of ₹67,700/- (approx. ₹1,60,045/- with allowances). The Homeopathy Physician draws ₹50,000/- per month for 5 hours a day, 6 days a week, with no other allowance.
