Qualification:
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized under the India Medical Council (IMC) Act, 1956 or by the National Medical Commission (NMC) for practice of medicine in India.
- Qualifying degree: A Postgraduate qualification MD or MS (recognized under the IMC Act, #1956 or by the NMC) or qualifications recognized by the NMC as being equivalent thereto for employment as a Teacher in a Medical Institution. The qualifying degree must be in the subject of the post.

Salary:
1 Professor: Level-14A (168900-220400) As per 7th CPC plus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable).
2 Additional Professor: Level- 13A2+ (148200 – 211400) of 7th CPC plus usual allowances
including NPA (if applicable).
3 Associate Professor: Level- 13A1+ (138300 – 209200) of 7th CPC plus usual allowances
including NPA (if applicable).
4 Assistant Professor: Level- 12 (101500 – 167400) of 7th CPC plus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable).
