Essential Qualifications:

a) The applicants applying in response to this advertisement should satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for the post applied for. They must be fulfilling eligibility criteria as on the closing date of Online applications i.e. should have passed qualifying exam for essential educational qualification / have completed duration of experience as given in Recruitment rules on or before last date of online submission of form. In those cases where one passes exam or complete duration of experience after this date, their candidature will stand cancelled.
b) Candidates must upload the documents/certificates in support of all the claims made by them in the application like, Date of Birth, Experience (in sequence as mentioned in application), Essential qualification(s), Caste certificate/EWS certificate/Disability proof or any other information as applicable in their case, separately against each claim. Each document should be uploaded in PDF/JPEG format, as required in online application. File size should not exceed the prescribed limit. Print out of all such file should be legible when printouts are taken. For this purpose, the applicant should scan the documents/certificates in 200 dpi grey scale. Documents which have not been asked for like Pay Slip, Resume, Appointment letter, Relieving letter, Un-signed Experience Certificate etc. must not be uploaded in Document upload module.
c) Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent certificate indicating date of birth, or mark sheet of Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent issued by Central /State Board indicating Date of Birth should be submitted in support of claim of age.
d) Education Qualification certificates: as per Recruitment Rules for the post applied must be uploaded. In case of those who have equivalent educational qualification, Order/ letter regarding equivalent Educational Qualification claimed, indicating the Authority (with number and date) under which it has been so treated, regarding equivalent clause in Essential Qualifications, if a candidate is claiming a particular qualification as equivalent qualification as per the requirement of advertisement. The equivalent qualification will be
decided by the Competent Authority of AIIMS, Jammu and his decision will be final in this regard.

Pay Scale:

• Professor Level-14-A-Rs.168900-220400/- as per 7th CPC. (Usual allowances as per Institute norms including NPA as applicable).
• Additional Professor Level-13-A2+ – Rs.148200-211400/- as per 7th CPC. (Usual allowances as per Institute norms including NPA as applicable).
• Associate Professor Level-13-A-1+ – Rs. 138300-209200/- as per 7th CPC. (Usual allowances as per Institute norms including NPA as applicable).
• Assistant Professor Level 12 – Rs. 101500-167400/- as per 7th CPC (Usual allowances as per Institute norms including NPA as applicable).
