He worked as a Sarpanch (Frist person of Kasar-Pimpalgaon Village) & member of Panchayat Samiti Pathardi. During his tenure, he undertook various activities for the welfare of society such as the construction of ponds, roads ,template & gave motivations to farmers for using Hybrid seeds for getting more yield. He worked for the welfare of socially and economically backward classes. He was the president of Shivaji Vidya Vikas Mandal Kasar-Pimpalgaon, trustee of Parth Vidya Prasarak Mandal, Pathardi. He was the member of District Local Board during 1955-1960
