Eligibility:
Doctoral degree from established and premier Institutions/Universities in India or abroad – IISc, IITs, NITs, IIMs, NITIE, Central Universities, National Laboratories, Foreign Universities and Institutions under 500 QS rankings – in relevant field with experience in research and teaching.
- Assistant Professor (Grade – I) : PhD with First Class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with consistently very good academic record throughout.
- Assistant Professor (Grade – II) : Minimum 3 years of teaching / research / industry experience of which at least 2 years at the level of Assistant Professor
- Assistant Professor (Grade – III) : Minimum 5 years of teaching / research / industry experience of which at least 3 years at the level of Assistant Professor
- Associate Professor : Minimum 6 years of teaching / research / industry experience of which at least 5 years at the level of Assistant Professor
- Professor : Minimum 10 years of teaching / research / industry experience of which at least 5 years at the level of Associate Professor
- Applicants pursuing or about to submit their PhD thesis are also encouraged to apply.
- Applicants for the post of Assistant professor in engineering discipline must possess B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline.
