College Profile: Rukmani Ammal Educational Trust was established in the year 1994 in Sembodai with the sole aim of uplifting the down-trodden and socially backward people of the region by providing them right education. The Trust opened the SEMBODAI R. V. POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE in the year 1997 with a vision to create, technical educational facilities, to the socially educationally and economically under privileged youth from rural areas in and around Nagapattinam district.
The college in Sembodai located on Vedaraniam – Nagapattinam State Highway and 10km north and 40km south of Vedaraniam and Nagapattinam respectively,caters to the needs of the engineering education in the educationally backward Nagapattinam district.
