Project Associate and Scientific Administrative Assistance/ Field Worker Positions Available in DST- Sponsored Project
Positions available for Two Project Associate-I and one Scientific Administrative Assistance/ Field Worker under the Department of Science and Technology (DST) sponsored project titled “Camellia-I Drone: An Intelligent Automatic System for the Pest Infestation Assessment and Spraying Intervention in Tea Plants of North-East Region” at Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu as per following details. The appointments will be purely on temporary contractual basis and hence the Institution will not provide any employment after completion of the project.
Project duration: 3 years only.

Essential Qualification:
M.E. / M.Tech (Specialization in CSE) / M.E. / M.Tech (Specialization in Electronics Engg.,) / M.Sc. CS/M.Tech (Bio-Tech)/ M.Sc. Bio-Tech with a proven track of experience . Desirable Qualifications and Experience: · Priority will be given to candidates who have passed UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR NET/GATE or similar national level exams. · Candidates should possess basic skills and knowledge in deep learning, drones, image processing, and data analytics to successfully finish the project. · Strong abilities in both engineering report drafting and preparation of presentations are required. |
The Incumbent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, which includes curating and developing image datasets, creating and deploying vision transformer/deep neural networks models, developing mobile applications, formulating drone maneuvering algorithms, and validating deep learning models. preparing comprehensive reports. |

Essential Qualification:
Graduate from recognized university.
Desirable Qualification and Experience: B.E./B.Tech (Specialization in CSE)/B.Sc. CS Experience in related field.

The incumbent will help in dataset creation in the fields and supportive in project related non-technical activities. |
General Instructions:
- The above posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
