Organization Profile: The Central University of Jammu came into existence on August 08, 2011, with the appointment of the first Vice-Chancellor. It was established by the Central Universities Act, 2009 (Act No.25 of 2009 read with the Central Universities Act, 2009).

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. degree in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/ Microbiology /Biochemistry and Life Sciences or other relevant subjects from a recognized University/ Institution with minimum 55% Marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.
Candidate Profile:
- The candidate should be completed a UG/PG in the relevant discipline with good academic records.
- The candidate should have excellent communication
- Candidates should be passionate towards teaching and guiding students
- The candidate should have good research record
Emoluments Per Month:
- Rs. 31,000.0 + HRA as per funding agency/University norms and third year Rs. 35,000/- per month +HRA
