Essential Qualifications:

• Research Assistant: A postgraduate degree in any Social Science or Interdisciplinary discipline, with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university, along with a good academic record, research aptitude, and knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Field Investigator: A postgraduate degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, or allied disciplines, with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university.

Desirable:

• Research Assistant: NET, M.Phil., or Ph.D. qualification; research experience in Migration Studies, Diaspora Studies, Labour Studies, Development Studies, Sociology, or Public Policy; skills in survey design, interview-based research, data analysis, and academic writing; knowledge of SPSS, STATA, R, NVivo, Atlas.ti, or MS Excel; and knowledge of English, Hindi, and preferably Marathi, along with familiarity with migration patterns from Maharashtra to Gulf countries.
• Field Investigator: Ability to communicate in Marathi, Hindi, and English; experience in migration, labour, development, or community-based research; familiarity with digital data collection tools such as Google Forms, KoboToolbox, or SurveyCTO; and experience conducting household surveys and qualitative interviews. Candidates from Latur district and other regions of Maharashtra will be preferred, given the fieldwork requirements in Latur and Nanded districts.
