Essential Qualification:

• For Project Associate-I, candidates need an M.Sc. in Mathematics with the same percentage criteria, without the NET or GATE requirement

Desirable: Basic knowledge of analytic number theory and special functions

Emoluments per month: Rs. 37,000 plus 10% HRA for candidates qualified in NET/CSIR-UGC/GATE, and as per ANRF norms for candidates without these qualifications

General Instructions to the applicant:

• This position is purely on contract and temporary. Initially, the position is for 6 months, and can be extended up to 3 years (or until the end of the project, whichever is earlier) based on performance.
• This is a rolling advertisement. Positions with a sufficient number of applications received by the cut-off date will be processed for interview in the first phase. Applications received after the cut-off date will be considered for the next phase of the interview, for which the deadline will be notified on the university website in due course.
• The composite rolling advertisement will remain alive all the time and will be updated every time a new vacancy is created or when the earlier advertised positions are filled by selection. Prospective applicants can apply at any time of the year; however, applications will be processed only after the cut-off dates indicated on the University website.
