Job Title: Project Assistant
Project Tile: Construction of a basic flash sintering set-up and a study of its application to the fabrication of dense oxides and carbides

- Department of Sciences (Physics)
Qualification: Masters in Materials Science / Physics / Nanoscience with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from a recognized university.
Desirable: A strong interest or prior experience in metallurgical processes/ powder metallurgy is desirable. Knowledge of crystallography and diffusional processes in metals and ceramics would be an advantage.
Job Location: Coimbatore, Tamilnadu
Emoluments: Rs. 16000 + 20% HRA (=Rs. 19,200/- pm) for first two years and Rs. 18000 + 20% HRA (=Rs. 21,600/- pm) for third year
Duration : 3 Years; Initial appointment for one year and renewable every year based on performance and other conditions for a total of 3 years.
