Organization Profile: It was a memorable day on May 01, 2016, at Jammu, when a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Department of Higher Education, Government of Jammu & Kashmir and Department of Higher Education, MHRD, Government of India, was signed, setting the ball rolling to set up an IIT campus at village Jagti, Tehsil Nagrota at Jammu. The site is located on the National Highway and is about 15 Km from the Airport. 

Job Title: Junior Research Fellow

Project Title: Imaging Guided Mitochondria Targeted Gene Delivery Using Quantum Dot

Qualification:

  • B.E. / B.Tech. / M.Tech./ M.Sc. in Nanotechnology, Nanomaterials, Biotechnology, Material Science, or any other discipline relevant to the project from a recognized University/Institute. The candidate should have a consistently good academic record.
  • Note: Candidates applying with a B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. degree. For applicants from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs), no GATE or equivalent national-level examination score is required but must have a minimum CGPA of 8.0 on a 10-point scale
    (or equivalent). However, candidates from non-CFTI institutes must possess a valid qualification in a recognized national-level examination such as GATE, UGC NET, CSIR NET, ICAR, ICMR, or examinations conducted by IITs, IISc, IISERs (or an equivale

Desirable Qualifications:
Prior experience with Nanomaterial synthesis, Characterization, Mammalian cell culture or Electrochemical studies.

Job Location: Jammu

Duration: 1 Year (extendable based on performance)

Pay Scale: INR 37,000 /- + HRA (#) as applicable
