Essential Qualifications: For Junior Faculty in Illustration and CAD, candidates need a Master’s degree of minimum 2 years’ duration in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Communication Design, Apparel Design, Fashion Technology, Fashion Management, Textile and Clothing, Lifestyle Accessory Design, Knitwear Design, Leather Design, Textile Design, Fine Arts, or an equivalent subject, with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university. For Junior Faculty in Design Process, candidates need a similar Master’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Lifestyle Accessory Design, Knitwear Design, Leather Design, Textile Design, Fashion Management, or an equivalent subject with 55% marks. For the Lab Assistant post, candidates must be practically sound in machine operation, garment and apparel pattern making, sample making, and demonstration to students, and should be able to sew garments and repair sewing machines such as lock stitch, overlock, and flatlock machines.
Salary Details: Junior Faculty will receive a consolidated pay of Rs. 50,000/- per month, and Academic Support Cadre staff such as Lab Assistant will receive a consolidated pay of Rs. 30,000/- per month. Pay scales are not applicable under this ad-hoc engagement, and pro-rata payment will be considered for engagement covering part of a month, presuming a 30-day month.
