Essential Qualifications: For Junior Faculty in Illustration and CAD, candidates need a Master’s degree of minimum 2 years’ duration in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Communication Design, Apparel Design, Fashion Technology, Fashion Management, Textile and Clothing, Lifestyle Accessory Design, Knitwear Design, Leather Design, Textile Design, Fine Arts, or an equivalent subject, with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university. For Junior Faculty in Design Process, candidates need a similar Master’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Lifestyle Accessory Design, Knitwear Design, Leather Design, Textile Design, Fashion Management, or an equivalent subject with 55% marks. For Junior Faculty in Pattern Making and Garment Construction, candidates need a Master’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Garment Manufacturing Technology, Fashion Technology, Textile and Clothing, Apparel Manufacturing, Knitwear Design, Leather Design, Textile Design, or an equivalent subject with 55% marks. Experience: Junior Faculty candidates need at least 3 years of academic and/or industry experience in their respective domain, with academic experience, if any, being at the UG degree level or higher. Candidates for the Illustration and CAD domain must also have hands-on experience with Corel, Photoshop, Tukacad, 2D and 3D design software, Illustrator, and other fashion design related software. For the Lab Assistant post, candidates must be practically sound in machine operation, garment and apparel pattern making, sample making, and demonstration to students, and should be able to sew garments and repair sewing machines such as lock stitch, overlock, and flatlock machines.

Salary Details: Junior Faculty will receive a consolidated pay of Rs. 50,000/- per month, and Academic Support Cadre staff such as Lab Assistant will receive a consolidated pay of Rs. 30,000/- per month. Pay scales are not applicable under this ad-hoc engagement, and pro-rata payment will be considered for engagement covering part of a month, presuming a 30-day month.
