The university has 8 Research Stations, located at Ballowal Saunkhri (Shahid Bhagat Singh Nagar), Gurdaspur, Faridkot, Bathinda, Abohar, Kapurthala, Usman (Taran Taran) and Dyal Bharang (Amritsar); 3 Fruit Research Stations, situated at Gangian (Hoshiarpur), Bahadurgarh (Patiala) and Jallowal & Lesriwal (Jalandhar); and 4 Seed Farms, located at Naraingarh (Fatehgarh Sahib), Ladhowal (Ludhiana), Nabha (Patiala) and Birsikhanwala (Faridkot).

- M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Plant Breeding/Plant Breeding & Genetics/Genetics ‘crop plants’/Biosciences with minimum OCPA 6.5/10.00 or 65% marks
Project Duration: Period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier
Emoluments: Rs 31,000/- + HRA 16% for 1st and 2nd year and as SRF @ Rs. 35000/-+ HRA for 3rd year per month
