Job Title: Junior Research Fellow & Field Assistant

Job Location: Uttarakhand

Consolidated Pay:

  • JRF – 31,000.00 + HRA per month (Consolidated)
  • Field Assistant – Rs 12,000/-p.m.
    fixed.

Qualifications:

  • JRF – Degree(M.Sc./M.Tech) in Earth Sciences/Remote Sensing & GIS/Civil Engineering/Water Engineering/Agriculture Engineering with soil and water conservation/Geoinformatics/Geology/Environmental Sciences from a recognized university.
  • Field Assistant – Graduation from a recognized university or Intermediate with 5-year experience in relevant field in the Himalaya.

Desirable Qualification:

  • JRF – One-year research experience in the related area along with relevant
    publication if any.
  • Field Assistant – Preference will be given to the candidate having experience in strong interest
    and background in field data collection, traveling in mountainous areas, analysis of data as well as in computer skills

Duration of the project: Preference will be given to
the candidate having experience/knowledge of watershed management/hydrological simulation modeling for rainfall-runoff, SWAT, or similar hydrological model/Remote Sensing & GIS, Water Resource Management, Computer programming. Preference will be given to the candidate having a willingness to carry out an extensive field survey
