Job Position: Research Associate (RA-II)
Project Title: Marine Species Identification and Recognition Using AI
Sponsored by: The Ministry of Earth Science sponsors the project
Department: School of Mathematics and Computer Science
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Marine Biology, Taxonomy or related field
Skills Desirable:
– Extensive knowledge of marine species and ecosystems
– Experience in biological image data analysis
– Familiarity with AI applications for imaging in biology is a plus
– Strong analytical and communication skills
– Programming skills in Python or C, etc.
– Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Candidate Profile:
- The candidate should be completed a UG/PG in the relevant discipline with good academic records.
- The candidate should have excellent communication
- Candidates should be passionate towards teaching and guiding students
- The candidate should have good research record
Duration of appointment: For a period of 1 Year. It may be further extended based on the performance.
Salary: Rs. 61,000/- Per Month
