- Faculty Fellow (Pay Level 11): Ph.D. with 2 years of post-doctoral experience with commendable research publications. Age limit: Not exceeding 40 years.
- Assistant Professor (Pay Level 12): Ph.D. with 4 years of post-doctoral experience with commendable research publications. Age limit: Preferably below 50 years.
- Associate Professor (Pay Level 13): Ph.D. with 8 years of independent teaching and research experience of sustained Quality. Age limit: Preferably below 50 years.
- Professor (Pay Level 13-A): Established scientists with proven leadership Qualities, widely recognized in his/her area of research. Age limit: Preferably below 50 years.
- Desirable: Ph.D. with 12 years of Independent ResearchExperience with commendable research publications as well as teaching experience
