Organization Profile: The University of Mysore was established on July 27, 1916. It is the sixth oldest in the country and the first in the state of Karnataka. Also, in a sense it is the first university of the country to be established outside the limits of the British India. The university was founded as a result of the efforts of the benevolent and visionary Maharaja of erstwhile Princely State of Mysore His Highness Shri Nalvadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar – IV (1884-1940), and the then Diwan Sir M. Eligibility Criteria:
- JRF : M.Sc. in SericuIture and Seri-biotechnology with first class.
- RA:

- Ph.D. in Sericulture with research experience in silk biomaterials or any biomaterials. Preference will be given to the candidates having publication on silk materials in peer reviewed journals with good IF. Or
- M. Tech in Materials Science with 3-4 years of research experience in biomaterials selection, product development and validation, besides, handling and manipulating dental materials focused towards maxillofacial applications. Preference will be given to the candidates having publication on silk materials in peer reviewed journals with good IF.

Candidate Profile:
- Candidate should complete their PG/Ph.D in relevant discipline
- The Candidates must have good communication skills in English and they might have to undertake field visits.
Job Location: Guwahati, Assam
Duration: Till closure of the project (May 2021 – October 2022)
Salary: The fellowship is consolidated, No HRA will be given
- JRF : Rs. 31,000/month
- RA : Rs. 47,000/month
