Eligibility Criteria for the Contractual Position

Assistant Professor (Criminology / IT Cyber Security)

Educational & Other qualifications required:

  1. Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in a relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
  2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants University (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be. Provided further, candidates registered for the Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances / Bye- laws / Regulations of the Institutions awarding the degree and such D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges / Institutions subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions: –
  • Ph.D. degree of the candidate awarded in regular mode only;
  • Evaluation of the Ph.D. thesis by at least two external examiners;
  • An open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate had been conducted;
  • Candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work out of which at least one must be in a refereed journal;
  • Candidate has made at least two presentations in conference/seminars, based on his/her Ph.D work. (a) to as above are to be certified by the Registrar/Dean (Academic Affairs).

Note: NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.

OR

Ph.D degree from a university/institution with a ranking in top 500 in the World University ranking (at any time)by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the Times Higher Education (THE) and Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai).

Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professor – Information Technology/ Computer Science:

  • First Class Master’s Degree in the relevant branch of Engineering (Engg.) & Technology (Tech).

Assistant Professor Research (Corporate Security)

Educational & Other qualifications required:

  • Master’s degree in relevant subject or any allied field related to Corporate/Industrial/Security Studies/Security Management/Intelligence Studies/National Security with minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grade system is followed) in the concerned/relevant/allied subjects from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

Other desirable Qualifications:

  • Minimum 02 year of working/teaching/ research experience in equivalent cadre or relevant filed in any Government/Private/ corporate or relevant Institute/Research institute;
  • National Eligibility Test (NET) in accordance with UGC Regulations or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET;
  • Conduct research in the fields of intelligence, crisis and security studies/management;
  • Ability to meet the timelines, prepare reports, papers on various assignments;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office;
  • Ability to prepare reports/papers on various assignments.
  • Proficiency in the use of security technology and tools relevant to the industry, such as surveillance systems, access control systems, and cyber security tools.
  • Fluency in English, Hindi and any Regional Languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in relevant Teaching, Research and consultancy projects- facilitate Academia- Industry Partnership;
  • To come up with innovative outreach projects (in relevant filed);
  • To compile and publish newsletters, reports on wounding frame issues etc;
  • Organizing and Conduct of Co-curricular activities with students;
  • Planning and Organization of Certificate Course, Diploma courses, Short customize;
  • Training Programs, Conferences, Workshops and Research work;
  • Generate comprehensive reports on training effectiveness and areas for improvement. Regularly review and enhance training programs based on feedback, industry developments, and lessons learned from security incidents Experience in Training/ Teaching/Instruction of the Students/ Cadets/ Trainees in the Academic/Security Training Establishments.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the University/School Authorities in PAN India.

Teaching also Research Officer (Police Administration/Law/Forensic Science)

Educational & Other qualifications required:

  • Master’s degree in relevant subject or any allied filed with minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grade system is followed) in the concerned/relevant/allied subjects from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
  • Minimum 02 years of experience/ research in equivalent cadre or relevant field in any Government/Private or relevant Institute/Research institute.

Other desirable Qualifications:

  • National Eligibility Test (NET) in accordance with UGC Regulations or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC.
  • Minimum one year of teaching experience in relevant subject.

Educational Qualification & Experience

  • A candidate having 55% marks in Master’s degree from recognized University.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in relevant field or administration preferably in academic research institute setup/ Government/Semi Government/ Public or Private Enterprise/Firms;
  • Or a candidate having 55% marks in Bachelor’s degree from recognized University with Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant field or administration preferably in academic research institute setup/ Government/Semi Government/ Public or Private Enterprise/Firms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain various information databases (Including staff details) and office record properly for the audit purposes and for the senior management, supervision, follow up and proper work should be taken from the subordinate staff;
  • Noting and writing comments in important cases/email;
  • Cases should be submitted to higher authorities on time;
  • Provides a variety of administrative support functions;
  • May supervise and train subordinate staff;
  • Handling accounts payable and receivable, checking invoices, resolving accounts to the general ledger, contacting clients about transactions and invoices;
  • May act as advisor on administrative matters to sections & subordinates;
  • Assisting in planning and monitoring the development of the University;
  • Plan, organize and monitor inter-departmental administrative programs and activities;

Training, Internship & Placement Officer

Educational Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in any discipline from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university and having with minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant field or administration preferably in academic research institute setup/Government/Semi Government/Public or Private Enterprise/Firms;
  • Desirable: MBA-HR from a reputed Institution & minimum 3 years’ experience in relevant field or administration;
  • Excellent knowledge of computer systems, i.e., MS office & Google tools.
  • Must be excellent in written and oral communications and can draft emails independently.

Clinical Psychologist

Educational Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum qualification for the subject Clinical Psychology the (Rehabilitation Council of India, 2016) Guidelines & Syllabus will be applicable.

Other Desirable Qualification

  • Work experience in mental health establishments, prison, juvenile homes, family courts.
  • Willingness to work on any assigned project undertaken by the University in any of the campus/affiliated institutions/extension etc. of the University.
  • National Eligibility Test (NET) in accordance with UGC Regulations or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET.
  • Research/Project report writing abilities.

Educational Qualification & Experience

  • Candidate must have passed HSC or an equivalent examination from any recognized Board/University.
  • Certificate/Diploma in Library science/Library & Information Science OR
  • Minimum 03 years as a full-time experience as Assistant/Attendant/Stack Assistant/Trainee/Clerk or similar post(s) in the Library of Academic/Research/Govt./Semi-Govt./NGO/Corporate.

Assistant Drill Instructor Assistant

Educational Qualification & Experience

  • Police Personnel or Ex. Army men with Experience of 15 years with knowledge of Drill or Marching and weapon Training.

Other Desirable Qualification

  • Must have experience in Parade, Drill Training, and organizing games & sports, cultural meets at the School and University level are essential;
  • Having working knowledge of computer
  • Able to communicate/connect well with students/staff & faculty members;
  • Ability to motivate & encourage students, staff & faculty members to actively take part in sports programs;

  • To assist the parade classes and Drill Training Activities, will be in charge of all NCC training
