Qualification:
DEAN RESEARCH:
• To be responsible to Head R&D ecosystem of the University.
• To make sustainable strategies and efforts for maximizing the tangible research outcomes in alignment with NAAC/ NIRF / QS etc.
• To mentor and coordinate Publications, Patents, and Funded Projects with a timeline-based strategic plan and execution
• To create an ecosystem where the creativity of the students and faculty are harnessed to innovative works
• Promoting research funding culture in faculty by mentoring them to get research grants from various national and international funding agencies (Govt. & Non-Govt. Agencies).
• IPR policy implementation to commercialization of patents
• Create Industry interface for industry-driven research and innovations
• Promote Interdisciplinary research and research collaborations
• To leverage internal peer review mechanisms in research
• To disseminate and implement good research practice and ethics
• To organize & conduct departmental workshops on IPR, Research Methodologies and Skill Development
• Responsible to achieve quarterly/ annually targets related to research activities
• Professors/Officials from government institutes like DRDO, SERB, DST, CSIR, DBT will be preferred
RESEARCH CO-ORDINATORS:
• To work with the Dean Research and the Heads of Departments of their respective School, to ensure the strongest possible submissions to the Research Excellence Framework
• To promote Research and represent the Faculty at the School level as required
• Responsible for administration of Undergraduate Research Schemes and Opportunities
• To be responsible to achieve research related targets of respective Schools/ Departments
DIRECTOR – ENTREPRENEURSHIPS, START-UP, AND INCUBATION CENTRE:
• The candidate should create a strong passion to incubate start-ups/ spin-out businesses and build a support network that stimulates entrepreneurial spirit at the Incubation centre at Galgotias campus
• Should create a start-up process lifecycle and act as a key innovation mentor for our students and faculty by building strategic alliances with all stakeholders and delivering support, particularly from investors and government bodies
• The candidate should be able to develop a mentor network for the incubator and work to make the incubated venture successful
MANAGER SCHEME:
• Should have sound knowledge of project inviting and start-up incubation.
DEAN SEED MONEY, CONSULTANCY & CORPORATE TRAINING:
• To assess the related SWOT analysis & provide needed intervention, support departments to formulate strategic planning and execute the plan
• To improve research culture in the institute through seed grant schemes
• To formulate strategic planning for consultancy & corporate training and execute the plan using SOP and Documentation
• To provide needed administrative support to all faculty in proposing and executing their seed money, consultancy & corporate training projects including documentation as per SOP
• Collaboration and MoU with industry for faculty members, Corporate training and consultancy, Technology transfer and impact assessment
• To develop an standard operating procedure each process for proper execution
• To develop the facilities & resources in university & conduct Train The Trainer (T3) programs
• To impart corporate training throughout the year& generate funds
Candidate Profile:
- Candidate should complete their PG/Ph.D. in a relevant discipline
- Good Communication Skills
