Essential Qualifications:

• A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university, along with registration with the concerned regulatory body/council wherever applicable, is required for most Assistant Professor posts. Candidates must have also cleared NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or an equivalent test like SLET/SET, or hold a Ph.D. awarded as per UGC regulations, subject to exemption conditions. Ayurvedic Pharmacy requires an MD in Ras Shastra evam Bhaishjya Kalpana/Dravyaguna Vigyan or an M.Pharm in Ayurveda with the above conditions fulfilled. Physiotherapy requires a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Physiotherapy with 55% marks and registration with the concerned council. M.Sc. Sports Nutrition requires a Master’s degree in Sports Nutrition or allied subject with 55% marks along with one year teaching experience and NET, or a Ph.D. as per UGC norms. Biomedical Sciences requires a First Class Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences or an allied subject with NET from UGC/ICMR/CSIR/DBT/DST. Nursing posts require qualifications as per Indian Nursing Council guidelines.
• Professor of Practice requires distinguished experts with a proven track record of at least 15 years of service or experience in the relevant domain, and a formal academic qualification is not essential if exemplary professional practice is demonstrated.

Desirable: Teaching or research experience, a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline, quality research publications in high impact Q1 journals, research projects as Principal Investigator or Co-Principal Investigator, and patents or consultancy projects are preferred for most posts.

Age Limit: Upper age limit for Faculty on Short Term Appointment under the UR category is 45 years, with age relaxation as per GNCTD norms for reserved categories. Upper age limit for Guest Faculty is 69 years, subject to a maximum engagement age of 70 years. Age will be reckoned as on the date of the walk-in interview.

Salary Details: Consolidated salary for Faculty on Short Term Appointment is Rs. 89,435 per month, which is not eligible for any other allowance, pension, or gratuity. The honorarium for Guest Faculty is as per UGC guidelines, at Rs. 1,500 per lecture subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000 per month, also not eligible for any other allowance, pension, gratuity or leave.
