- Assistant Professor (Anaesthesia)-11 (UR-05, SC-03, BC-01, ESM-01, EWS-01) As per Punjab Government notification no. 1/28/2020-4ss3/3893 dated 03.07.2020 the post of Assistant Professor (Anaesthesia) will be filled purely on contract basis for a period of one year.
Qualification:
1. Professor: As Reader/ Associate Professor in the subject for three years in a recognized Post Graduate
Medical College in concerned speciality. (minimum 10 years teaching experience after completion of postgraduation).
Publications: Minimum of four Research Publications indexed in Pub Med, Excerpta Medica or Embased Medicas or Index Medicus or Index Copernicus or Scopus or Medline Advt. No 07 of 2020 2 of 4 Journals two accepted/ published during period as Associate Professor
2. Associate Professor: As Assistant Professor in the subject for four years in a recognized Post Graduate Medical College in concerned speciality. (minimum 7 years teaching experience after completion of postgraduation)
Publications: Minimum of two Research Publications indexed in Pub Med, Excerpta Medica or Embased Medicas or Index Medicus or Index Copernicus or Scopus or Medline Journals, accepted/ published during period as Assistant Professor
3. Assistant Professor: Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized Post Graduate Medical College as Senior Resident/ Registrar/ Lecturer/ Demonstrator/ Tutor or equivalent or higher teaching
faculty posts after post-graduation in the concerned speciality. The Candidates who have done super-speciality (DM/M.Ch) in the concerned speciality shall be directly eligible for the post
Assistant Professor. The Candidate who has done DNB which fulfils the equivalent criteria of MCI for MD/MS/DM/MCh shall be considered as meeting the post-graduation qualification requirement.
