Candidates with MD/MS in Emergency Medicine, Orthopaedics, Surgery or Anaesthesia, or with two years of post-MBBS experience in these branches (including one year in emergency medicine), are eligible for the Senior Resident post in Emergency Medicine, while relevant experience in the same branches qualifies a candidate for Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine. Where no MD/MS candidate is available, an MBBS candidate with two years of relevant branch experience will be considered for the Senior Resident post.
Age Limit: age should not exceed 69 years as on the date of interview for Teaching Faculty posts, and should not exceed 45 years for Senior Resident posts. Age relaxation will be given as per the prevailing norms of the Government of India.
Salary Details:
- Professor: fixed basic pay of Rs. 1,23,100/- (Level 13) plus other allowances (gross salary approx. Rs. 2.5 Lakh)
- Associate Professor: fixed basic pay of Rs. 78,800/- (Level 12) plus other allowances (gross salary approx. Rs. 1.7 Lakh)
- Assistant Professor: fixed basic pay of Rs. 67,700/- (Level 11) plus other allowances (gross salary approx. Rs. 1.45 Lakh)
