Essential Qualifications: NET/SLET/PhD is the minimum criteria for appointment as Guest Faculty in Higher Education Institutions, as per UGC Regulations 2018 (clause 3.10) and the amendment notification dated 30.06.2023. Candidates must also possess the 10+2+3+2 pattern of education. The clearing of NET/SLET/SET is not required for candidates belonging to a discipline where the NET/SLET/SET exam is not conducted.

Salary Details:

• Full time Guest Faculty with NET/SLET/PhD (maximum 16 hrs/week, up to 64 hrs/month): Rs.50,000/- per month
• Part time Guest Faculty with NET/SLET/PhD (minimum 8 hrs/week): Rs.780/- per hour
• Part time Guest Faculty without NET/SLET/PhD: Rs.680/- per hour

Note: Full time Guest Faculties with NET/SLET/PhD qualification will be engaged for the whole academic year, subject to the condition that they assist Directors/Chairpersons/Co-ordinators of the concerned departments in academic, administrative, and examination work, and publish one refereed journal article during the academic year.

General Instructions for the candidates to apply for the Bangalore University jobs:

• Only candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category from the State of Karnataka are eligible to apply.
