Qualification: 

• Electrical Engineering:
  B. E. / B. Tech. / B. S. and M. E. / M. Tech. / M. S. in Electrical Engineering with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.
  OR
  Ph.D. from institution of National importance with GATE/GPAT/CEED directly after the Bachelor’s degree.
  OR
  The Ph.D. degree has been obtained from a foreign university/institution with a ranking among top 500 in the World University Ranking (at any time) by any one of the following:
  (i) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) (ii) the Times Higher Education (THE) or (iii) the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai).
• Design Your own Degree:
  Bachelor’s degree or minimum 4 years’ diploma in any one of the streams of Design, Fine Arts, Applied Arts and Architecture or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Architecture with first class or equivalent.
  And
  Masters Degree or equivalent Post Graduate Diploma in relevant disciplines with First Class or equivalent in a concerned/relevant/allied subject of Industrial Design/Visual Communication/Fine Arts /Applied Arts/ Architecture/ Interaction Design/ New Media Studies/Design Management/Ergonomics/Human Factors Engineering/Indian Craft Studies and related fields of Engineering or Design.

Job Location: Awantipora, Kashmir

Salary:

• PG (excluding Arch) : Rs. 45,000/- per month
• NET/SET/GATE : Rs. 48,000/- per month
• Ph. D. : Rs. 50,000/- per month
• NET/SET/GATE and Ph.D. : Rs. 50,000/- per month
• B. Arch/M. Arch. : Rs. 50,000/- per month

Tenure:
The engagement is initially for the year 2025 ending 31st December, 2025 or till the post is filled on substantive basis (whichever is earlier) and is extendable on the basis of annual performance appraisal by the University based on the recommendations of the concerned Head of the Department, Student feedback, requirement and other related parameters.
