Job Title/Designation: Principal – Pharmacy
Summary: The role is responsible for providing strategic leadership in education, research, faculty development and student affairs in alignment with regulatory standards and institutional goals. Ensure excellence in teaching , fosters a strong academic environment, and promotes the advancement of pharmaceutical sciences.
Job Profile
- Provide leadership in development and implementation of pharmacy curricula that meet national standards of PCI.
- Promote academic excellence and industry collaboration.
- Ensure curriculum review and quality enhancement to align with evolving pharmaceutical and healthcare trends.
- Oversee day to day academic and administrative operations.
- Foster a student centric learning environment focused on academic success , personal development.
- Establish linkages with pharmaceutical industries, hospitals and research institutions for internships and placement.
- Represent at academic and professional forums.
Qualification required is as follows.
- A Ph.D Degree in Pharmacy.
- At Least two successful Ph.D research scholars guided as supervisor / Co-Supervisor and minimum 8 research publications in SCI journals / UGC /AICTE approved list of journals.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in teaching / research / industry, out of which at least 3 years shall be at the post equivalent to that of Professor.
Skills Required: Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills, along with expertise in education and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Experience: 15 years of teaching / research / industry experience.
