The College has been named after the Founder’s father ,Rev. K.M. Jacob who was sighted in the Guinness book of records for his long outstanding service as a priest. The Founder Late Dr.Jacob Cherian, a PadmaBhushan awardee and his wife Dr.Mary Cherian ( late) are well known for their outstanding service in medical and educational fields and are fondly remembered as ‘Ayya and Amma ‘ by the local community .
