Qualification and Experience:
- Professor– Essential for medical candidates
1. Minimum 14 years teaching experience (post MD/MS or equivalent qualification) in a recognized/approved/permitted Medical College/teaching institution with minimum Three years teaching experience in the subject as Associate Professor and Four years as Assistant Prof in a recognized medical college/teaching institution.
2. Publications as per latest N.M.C. norms - Associate Professor- Essential for medical candidates (for General Discipline):
1. Four years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized/approved/permitted Medical College/teaching institution as Assistant Professor with total six years teaching
experience (post MD/MS or equivalent qualification) in the subject.
2. Publications as per latest N.M.C. norms - Assistant Professor: Three year teaching experience (post MD/MS or equivalent
qualification) in the subject in a recognized/approved/permitted medical college/teaching institution as Senior Resident

- Assistant Professor- Level-12 (Rs. 1,01,500-1,67,400) of 7th CPC plus usual allowances
including NPA (if applicable). After 3 years Assistant Professors will move to level 13 of the Pay Matrix. - Associate Professor- Level-13-A1+ (Rs. 1,38,300- 2,09,200) of 7th CPC plus usual
allowances including NPA (if applicable). - Additional Professor- Level-13-A2+ (Rs. 1,48,200-2,11,400) of 7th CPC plus usual
allowances including NPA (if applicable). - Professor-Level-14-A (Rs. 1,68,900-2,20,400) of 7th CPC plus usual allowances
