About STTP:
Indian Knowledge System embodies practically everything about India with more than 5000 years of recorded history covering culture, literature, science, engineering, technology, philosophy, art and sustainable lifestyle systems. This programme provides a contemporary perspective on Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) and Universal Human Values (UHV), presented as proposals for self-reflection, experiential validation and ethical decision-making.
Course Contents:
Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS):
- Ancient Architecture, Engineering and Technology
- Languages, Mathematics and Astronomy
- Music and Dance
- Water and Energy Resource Conservation
- Yoga, Meditation, Mental Health and Well-being
Universal Human Values (UHV):
- Basic Human Aspirations and Self Exploration
- Right Understanding and Harmony at Self, Society and Nature
- Wisdom, Wellness and Holistic Living
- Ecological Wisdom and Governance
Who Can Apply:
Undergraduate and Postgraduate faculty members from State and Central Universities, Affiliated Colleges, Constituent Colleges, Private Colleges, Polytechnic Colleges. Ph.D Scholars are also eligible.
Course Duration:
6 Days (36 Hours) including live sessions, hands-on sessions and assignments.
Certification Criteria:
Participants must maintain 80% attendance, submit assignments on time and secure minimum 60% marks in the final assessment.
