College Profile: Today Selvam College of Technology (SCT), an Autonomous Institution, is a front-runner in the field of education in Namakkal by imparting multifaceted education. SCT offers 9 Under Graduate courses namely Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Bio-Technology, Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, 5 Post Graduate Courses namely Computer Science and Engineering, Applied Electronics, Industrial Safety Engineering, Engineering Design and Master of Business Administration.
In order to empower individuals to become employable Engineers & Entrepreneurs, SCT started various Skill Development Courses such as Core Technical Programming Training in C,Java,Python etc., Technical Support Training in System Administration & Networking, Communicative English & Soft Skills, Aptitude, Competitive Exams Training and also Graphic Design in Adobe Photoshop, Coral Draw etc. with qualified trainers under IT Support and Development Training Programme (ISDTP) to improve the quality and skills of the students.
