The eligible candidates meeting the following requirements and desiring to be considered for the above mentioned post on purely contract basis for research project entitled “A novel approach for continuous fabrication of tailored blanks for automotive applications” funded by the Science and engineering research board (SERB), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India; at the institute are hereby informed to submit the application with the required details for the online Interview/tests at the date and time (to be declared after the last date of receiving the applications). Candidates having similar previous experience will be preferred. Selected candidate may get the chance to enroll for Ph.D. programme. Eligibility & Experience:
- First Class ME /M.Tech. in Mechanical/ Energy Engineering or Allied branches with B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical/Production/Metallurgy.
- GATE qualified candidate will be preferred.
Tenure: Appointment is maximum for the period of one year.
Monthly Emoluments: 31000.00 + (HRA).

In view of the COVID 19 situation, the interested candidates will be required to note the following:

3. The applications received within the last date & time stipulated will be screened by a selection committee, and a list of eligible candidates shortlisted for interview will be hosted on the Institute’s official website along with the date and time schedule of the interview. The Candidates are requested to be online and ready at their end at that time. The Screening Committee will devise its own criteria for shortlisting of candidates for interview. Merely fulfilling main eligibility criteria may not be suitable for eligible to be invited for the online interview.
4. The decision of SVNIT-Surat in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance, screening, mode of selection will be final and binding on the candidates and no enquiry correspondence will be entertained in this connection from any individual or any agency on behalf of the candidate.
5. The original documents of selected candidates will be verified at the time of joining, and in the event that any information mentioned in the application/CV/testimonials is found false or incorrect, their candidature straightway shall be cancelled.
