Hiring Organization: SAMS College of Engineering and Technology Organization Profile: SAMS CET is a division of Southern Academy of Maritime Studies was born out of dream from a Mariner, the Chairman of the Group. The Institute is 23 years old. SAMS is one of the premier Marine Institutes in the country, offering various Marine courses.

Job Title/Designation: Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor

Departments have vacancies:

Naval Architecture

Computer Science & Engineering

Maths

English

Workshop Instructor

Qualification:

Naval Architecture: Master’s degree, Bachelor’s Degree with First class in all the preceding degrees in the appropriate branch of Engineering

Other Departments: Master’s degree, Bachelor’s Degree with First class in all the preceding degrees in the appropriate branch of Engineering/ Science/English with an exemplary academic record throughout. PhD is a must for Professor/Associate Professor.

Workshop Instructor – First class in ITI & Diploma.,

Experience:

  • Assistant Professor – Freshers also may apply
  • Associate Professor – Minimum 5 Years of Experience of which 2 years post Ph.D. experience.
  • Professor – Minimum 10 Years of Experience of which at least 5 years at the level of Associate Professor.

Candidate Profile:

  • Faculty who can successfully execute R&D and consultancy will be preferred.
  • Faculty who can promote Patents, Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), Innovative, Tinkering Lab, Industry Interaction, and other Value-Added Courses will be preferred.
