Qualification:
- A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) by a recognized University.
- A Ph.D. Degree in concerned/allied/relevant discipline(s) in the institution concerned with evidence of published work & research guidance.
- Associate Professor with a total experience of fifteen years of teaching/research/administration in Universities, Colleges and other institutions of higher education.
- A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS).
- Candidate preferably from science degree college or B. Ed college
- Candidates having knowledge of Hindi/Marathi will be preferred.
Role Description:
- The appointment for the post of Principal is a tenure post of five years or till superannuation whichever is earlier.
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Principal. The Principal will be responsible for overseeing the overall administration, academic excellence, student welfare, and strategic planning of the college.
- Candidate must have:
Strong leadership and management skills
Experience in academic administration and curriculum development
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of educational policies and regulations
Strategic planning and decision-making skills
Master’s or PhD in Education preferably in Science or a M.Ed degree
