Organization Profile: Sainik School Kunjpura is one of the first five schools established by the Sainik Schools Society, New Delhi in 1961. At present there are 33 such schools covering all the states of the country. This school was founded by (late) Shri V.K. Krishna Menon, the then Defence Minister of India, on 24th July, 1961. The school is situated off the G.T. Road, 8 Kms away from Karnal Town.

TGT (General Science)

• Bachelor’s Degree in General Science with atleast 50% marks in concerned subject (Chemistry, Botany, Zoology).
• B.Ed or equivalent degree from recognised University.
• Passed CTET/STET.

TGT (Maths)

• Bachelor’s Degree with atleast 50% marks in Mathematics with subject combination Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics.
• B.Ed or equivalent degree from recognised University.
• Passed CTET/STET.

TGT (Hindi/Sanskrit)

• Graduation with Hindi & Sanskrit from a recognized University or equivalent with 50% marks.
• B.Ed or equivalent degree from recognised University.
• Passed CTET/STET.

Art Master

• Graduate degree in Fine Art/Drawing & Painting as one of the subject Or 5 years recognised diploma in Fine Art/Painting/Drawing & painting from recognised University.

TGT (English)

• Graduate in concerned subject with atleast 50% marks.
• B.Ed or equivalent degree with recognised University.
• Passed CTET/STET.

Counselor

• Graduate or Post Graduate in Psychology or Post Graduate in Child Development or Graduate/Post Graduate with Diploma in Career Guidance and Counseling.

PTI-as well as-Matron

• Graduate in Physical Education or B.P.Ed. OR
• D.P.Ed awarded by a recognized University/Institution after training of minimum one academic session provided that the admission qualification for the Diploma is at least a University degree. OR
• Bachelor of Sports, Humanities and Physical Education.

Band Master

• Potential Band Master/Band Major/Drum Major at the AEC Training College and Centre Pachmarhi or equivalent Naval/Air Force Course. OR Equivalent Course

Horse Riding Instructor

• Matriculation or equivalent from recognized school.
• Undergone Horse Riding Instructor Course.

Mess Manager

• Matriculation or equivalent.
• At least five years experience of running a catering organization independently in the civil, in the Defence Services or in any other similar organization.
• Ability to maintain mess accounts.
• Knowledge of Computer aptitude.

Ward Boys(Hostel Warden)

• Should have passed Matriculation.
• Good communication skill, preferably in English
