Qualification:
Masters Degree in any discipline with not less than 50% of marks (as per the RCI norms and UGC Regulations, Gazette dated September18, 2010 section 1.1.1)
M.Ed. Degree in specific disability area (HI) with not less than 55% of marks or an equivalent grade of B+ in ’10 point scale’ of UGC from a recognized University/ Institute.

An equivalent degree from a foreign university recognized by RCI. Valid Registration with RCI, u/s 19 of RCI Act, 1992 is essential.
Desirable Qualification:
(i) M.Phil/Ph.D in Special Education or Education with research emphasis on Special Education.
(ii) Experience for a period of at least 2 years as teacher or researcher in the area of a specific disability.
