College Profile: Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) named in honour and memory of Professor Jayashankar, an eminent educationist and an ardent Telangana ideologue is the only Farm University of Telangana State. It was established as per the Telangana Govt’s G.O. Ms. No. 7, Agricultural and Cooperation (Agril III) Department, Govt. of Telangana dated 31-07-2014 adapting the ANGRAU act 1993 as “The ANGRAU Act of 1963 (Telangana Adaptation) order, 2014”. PJTSAU has nine constituent colleges with six of those devoted to faculty of Agriculture, two to faculty of Agricultural Engineering and Technology and one to faculty of Home Science. In addition, there are thirteen constituent polytechnics (eleven in Agriculture, one each in Seed Science and Agricultural Engineering).

Essential Qualification: Bachelors in Agriculture and allied sciences from any recognized universities or agriculture universities with MBA in Agribusiness or Masters in Entrepreneurship or MBA in Marketing/ Rural management with first division. Working experience of minimum 2 years especially in the agribusiness/incubation industry. The candidate should be able to understand startup needs, Business development of incubator and the startups under incubation program, program management, partnership engagement, client management, etc.
Desirable Qualification:
- Candidates who have worked in the Agribusiness Industries demonstrated experience in handling unique responsibilities would be preferred.
- The candidate should be a team player, with an age not exceeding 32 years, as on 31st April 2021.
