Several skill development courses are offered for students pursuing Diploma and Degree programmes in engineering. In addition to training and internships, the Centre also facilitates industrial training, R&D projects, student projects, FDPs and other collaborative activities.

Departments have vacancies: two persons (temporary manpower) may be engaged in SCoE-MIT as Professional Assistant —1, on daily wages, with the following qualifications:
