Organization Profile: Prasad V. Potluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology is one of the 18 Institutions sponsored by Siddhartha Academy of General and Technical Education. The institution is established in the year 1998 with a strong mission of quality technical education through continuous non-compromising interactive teaching. It is permanently affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. Andhra Pradesh, India. As a result of its concentrated efforts to attain quality, it is conferred Autonomous status in 2012. The college is certified by ISO 9001:2015, accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council with A+ grade and all eligible UG programs are accredited by NBA.
About Department: The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has been established in the year of 2001. The department is reaccredited by the National Board of Accreditation in 2019. The department consists of 2 professors, 4 Associate Professors, 16 Assistant Professors. The department organized various programs such as skill development, hands on sessions and technical workshops to strengthen the overall development of the students and faculty.

Scope of the Programme: This programme has been designed to train and develop the faculties/research scholars to conduct the research across many areas within the field of electrical engineering, such as Electrical Vehicle, Various Control techniques incorporated with the industrial drives and the power system operation and control. In addition to that automation and artificial intelligence are also focused on this workshop.
