Bharath Institute of Higher Education & Research (BIHER) was declared as deemed to be a university by University Grants Commission under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956 in the Year 2002. Later BIST was brought under the ambit of BIHER as a Constituent institute in the year 2003.BIHER aims to impact higher education in Science and Technology, Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Law to aspiring students so that they can emerge as competent professionals.
