About FDP:

The faculty development programme on Biomaterials for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine aims to highlight the recent progress in the design, development, and application of advanced biomaterials. Special emphasis will be placed on the role of biomaterials in creating functional tissue scaffolds, enhancing cell-material interactions, and enabling 3D printing and bioprinting, as well as modern biomanufacturing strategies, to accelerate the translational research from laboratory to clinical practice. Through expert lectures and interactive sessions, the FDP will provide participants with a deep understanding of emerging biomaterials and tissue engineering strategies that are shaping the future of regenerative medicine.

• Introduction to biomaterials and their classifications,
• Biocompatibility and biodegradation principles,
• Design and development of biomaterial-based tissue scaffolds,
• Surface modification and biofunctionalization strategies,
