Organization Profile: The Radhakrishnan University Education Commission of 1949 emphasised the need for establishing Agricultural Universities in India., Subsequently, the indo-American team consistitued under the Chairmanship of Dr. K.R. Damle (1955), the then Vice-president of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, suggested a system of education for Indian as followed in the Land Grant Colleges of USA. The Planning Commission Committee felt the inadequacy of trained personnel for substantial output in agricultural operations with the then set up of research, education and extension in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and allied fields. In course of time, these recommendations led to the creation of the agricultural universities to accomplish the integration of teaching, research and extension.

Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent of CGPA 5.5 in 10 point scale with good academic record.
- NET/M-Phil/ Ph.D degree in the concerned subject.
- Research publication in peer reviewed journals will be given due weightage.

Pay Scale: Rs. 1200/- per class subject to maximum of Rs. 60,000/- per month (As applicable)

- Guest Faculties will be required in different subjects under the College of Agriculture, OUAT, Bhubaneswar through Walk-In-Interview to be conducted in the office of the undersigned on 24th September & 25th September, 2026 as mentioned in the advertisement.
- The candidate must bring all the documents in original (Certificates, Mark sheets from HSCE onwards experience certificate etc.), two sets of self-attested photocopy of each document and two recent passport size photograph along with Biodata
