Soft Skills Trainer
Soft Skills Trainer will be responsible for delivering the Meta Skills module—covering English Language, Communication Skills, and Life Skills
Key Responsibilities
Academic Designing & Creative Initiatives
- Deliver the prescribed curriculum in English, Communication, and Life Skills as per academic schedules and formats.
- Design and execute interactive activities to improve English speaking, self‑expression, and adaptability in professional settings.
- Conduct life skills sessions on teamwork, emotional intelligence, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Prepare and administer trimester-end assessments, assignments, and project-based evaluations to measure progress.
- Integrate role-plays, simulations, case studies, and peer-learning exercises to ensure experiential learning.
- Organize workshops, guest lectures, and industry expert interactions to give students real-world exposure.
- Encourage participation in debates, group discussions, presentations, and campus clubs to develop confidence.
- Guide students on resume preparation, interview techniques, workplace etiquette, and digital communication skills.
Administrative & Coordination Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and deliver modules on time, ensuring alignment with the academic calendar.
- Collaborate with technical faculty to connect communication and life skills with technical training.
- Track individual student performance through structured feedback, maintain records, and share reports with relevant stakeholders.
- Recommend and implement additional learning resources, digital platforms, or mobile apps to support self-paced learning.
- Analyze student feedback and performance metrics to continuously improve curriculum delivery and engagement strategies.
- Coordinate with placement and academic teams to align training outcomes with industry expectations.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s in English, or a BTech/ BE degree with a training interest and experience
- Experience: Prior experience in teaching English, life skills, or employability programs at ITI/Diploma/undergraduate levels/ industry professionals
- Strong command over spoken and written English with the ability to simplify concepts for diverse learners.
- Proven ability to conduct interactive sessions, workshops, and activities that encourage participation.
- Familiarity with digital learning tools, LMS platforms, and AI-based learning resources.
- Empathetic approach with excellent interpersonal and mentoring skills, capable of motivating students from varied backgrounds.
- Ability to design practical, industry-relevant learning interventions that enhance job readiness.
Preferred (Good to Have)
- Certification in TESOL/TEFL, Train-the-Trainer, or similar.
- Exposure to corporate training or placement preparation programs.
- Experience in using microlearning content, gamification techniques, and blended learning methods.
- Awareness of current industry requirements for entry-level talent, especially in technical and service sectors.
