Assistant Professor:
- Physics – Nuclear and Atomic physics, Astronomy and Astrophysics, Theoritical/Accelerator Physics
- Experience: Ph.D. in Physics / Nuclear Physics / Astro-Physics / Astronomy / Cosmology from a national or international institution of repute, immediately followed by 3 years of Post-doctoral experience at a national or international institute of repute, with an excellent publication record is essential.
- Earth & Planetary Science – Evolutionary and Developmental Biology, Paleontology, Dendrochronology, Bio-diversity and Conservation, Quantum biology, Planetary sciences, Petrology, Geomorphology, Remote Sensing, Geochemistry, Stratigraphy, Modelling of Earth Process
- Experience: PhD in relevant branch with a minimum of 3 years’ post-doctoral experience at a national or international institute of repute
with excellent publication record is essential.
Postdoctoral Research Fellow:
- Physics – Nuclear and Atomic physics, Astronomy and Astrophysics, Theoritical/Accelerator Physics
- PhD from a national or international institute of repute with an excellent publication record.
- Earth & Planetary Science – Evolutionary and Developmental Biology, Paleontology, Dendrochronology, Quantum biology, Petrology, Planetary Geology, Stratigraphy, Geomorphology through Satellite Remote Sensing methods.
- Experience: PhD from a national or international institute of repute with an excellent publication record.
Staff Scientist:
- Manage the PG Laboratory, Design experiments needed for teaching PG course, Science Outreach – Design and implement outreach activities for higher secondary school and under graduate students
- (i)MSc and PhD in Physics, Astronomy and Astrophysics (ii) advanced degree in Science Journalism with an interest / experience in the popularization of science.
Asst. Radiological Safety Officer:
- To assist the Radiological Safety Officer at MCNS
- MSc / MTech in related area. Desirable – Candidates possessing a Certificate in Radiation Safety
