JOB DESCRIPTION — PRINCIPAL (St. Xavier International School -CBSE SCHOOL)
Job Summary
The Principal is the academic and administrative head of the CBSE-affiliated school, responsible for providing visionary leadership, ensuring excellence in teaching and learning, maintaining full compliance with CBSE norms, and fostering a safe, inclusive, and value driven school culture.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership
- Provide strong instructional leadership aligned with CBSE curriculum, guidelines, and educational best practices
- Ensure effective implementation of CBSE academic policies, assessments. and examination procedures
- Monitor, evaluate, and enhance teaching quality through classroom observations, mentoring, and feedback
- Promote innovative teaching methods, life skills education, and holistic student development
- Guide curriculum planning, academic calendars, and continuous improvement initiatives
Administration & Management
Recruitment Services Platform
- Oversee day-to-day school operations including timetables, admissions, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with CBSE Affiliation By-Laws, inspections, audits, and mandator.’ disclosures
- Develop and implement school policies, procedures, and long-term strategic plans
- Manage school budgets, infrastructure, and resources effectively in coordination with management
Staff Management
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff

Job Summary:
The Administrative Officer will be responsible for overall administration, discipline, security, infrastructure management, and coordination among various departments of the Group of Institutions. Preference will be given to candidates from Defence / Ex-Servicemen background due to their leadership qualities, discipline, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campus Administration & Discipline
- Ensure strict discipline and orderly conduct across all campuses.
- Supervise security personnel and monitor campus safety protocols.
- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Handle emergency situations and Crisis management effectively.
- Security & Safety Management
- Develop and implement campus security policies.
- Coordinate with local police, fire department, and emergency services.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Preferably Retired Defence Personnel (Army/Navy/Air Force) — JCO/Commissioned Officer
- Graduate / Postgraduate degree from recognized university.
- Minimum 10-15 years of administrative/operational experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and crisis management skills.
- Knowledge of institutional administration is an added advantage.
