Organization Profile: Defence Institute of Biodefence Technologies (DIBT), Mysore under the aegis of Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Govt of India. DIBT, Mysore is having the charter of duties of developing detection technologies for food borne pathogens and toxins of Biodefence importance as well as Military Nutrition. DIBT, Mysore invites applications from young, talented, and motivated Indian Nationals with requisite qualifications, who desire to pursue Defence related research as Research Associate (RA) and Junior Research Fellows (JRF).

Qualification: 

• JRF
  • Post Graduate degree in first Division from recognized University/Institute with valid NET/GATE score.
    OR
    Post Graduate degree in professional course (M.Tech) in first Division
  • Graduate degree in professional course (B.E / B Tech) in first Division with valid NET / GATE score.
    OR
    Post Graduate degree in professional course (M Tech) in first Division
    OR
    Post Graduate degree in MSc first Division from recognized University/ Institute with valid NET/GATE score.
  • Post Graduate degree in first Division from recognized University/ Institute with valid NET/GATE score.
    OR
    Post Graduate degree in professional course (M.Tech) in first Division
• RA
  • PhD in Food Science & Technology/ Food Processing Engineering/ Food Engineering
    & Technology/Food Engineering
    OR
    M.Tech in Food Processing Engineering/Food Engineering & Technology/Food Engineering/ Food Science & Technology with 3 years of Research experience with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.

Job Location: Mysore, Karnataka

Pay Scale: 

JRF- Monthly stipend is Rs.37,000/- + HRA per month.
RA- Monthly stipend is Rs. 67,000/- + HRA per month
