- Essential:
a) MEO Class – 1 (Motor) Certificate of Competency issued by the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS), Government of India.
b) Sailing experience for a minimum period of six months at the Management level within the meaning of the STCW Convention, as amended.
c) VICT / TOTA Course Certificate - Desirable:
a) Six months of teaching/training experience in Maritime Training Institute(s) in India
b) AECS and TSTA Course Certificate.

a) UG degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering discipline
b) PG or Integrated PG degree in Electronics Engineering or a relevant Engineering discipline.
c) PLC and Automation Control as a subject in the UG or PG level

Desirable:
a) A Pass in the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or a similar test accredited by the UGC like the State Level Eligibility Test (SLET/SET) in relevant discipline.

c) Research Publications such as Book/Research Papers as per UGC Norms.
