JRF in INAE-sponsored Indo-Taiwan joint research project at the Energy Systems Research Lab @ IIT Gandhinagar
Role highlight
Learn advanced technologies and the complete engineering process to convert concepts to products. Ideate, design, build, integrate, test and validate a range of different technologies across mechanical engineering. If the JRF contributes meaningfully to the project, he/she will be given an opportunity to visit our collaborator in Taiwan for research interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply engineering skills such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to design and build PCM-based cooling systems, sub-systems, and components.
- Engage with a diverse multidisciplinary and cross-cultural team to achieve project milestones.
Essential Qualifications:
- BTech/ B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering with a valid GATE/ NET qualification (validity at least until 31/12/2025)
- Candidate with hands-on experience of CFD (thermo-fluid numerical) modelling will be preferred. Fresh graduates with a passion for experimental and computational work may also apply.
- Proficiency in technical drawing, CAD and specification preparation is preferred.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, willingness to learn and work with one’s hands to design and build a complete system from scratch.
Duration: The initial appointment will be for one year, which may be extended by up to two more years, based on performance.
Salary: 37,000.00 per month + 27% HRA
